Made from premium composite leather, it features officially licensed Neo-Expressionist art from Jean-Michel Basquiat’s 1982 “Philistines” portfolio. The basketball showcases Brooklyn-born Basquiat’s signature motifs, such as his iconic three-point crown. He employed social commentary in his art to identify his experiences in the black community communicated through his scrawling personal pictographic messages is depicted on the basketball.
